Magic Light is a completely new way to move light - you can move beams of light by physically pushing and nudging the beam, as the 50 second clip below demonstrates

The technology was developed at the Royal College of Art in 2007, and a joint collaboration has begun with InnovationRCA and myself. We have secured a patent on the technology. This project has won the first ever James Dyson Innovation Fellowship and more recently was awarded the 1851 Royal Commission's 2008 Research Fellowship in Design. This means the Commisssion will support the development of Magic Light over the next two years, with a view to bringing it to market

We are currently seeking to license the technology and develop it further in partnership - if you are interested then please contact myself or the RCA on the contacts page.
