Since 2007 I have been working as an inventor for an American television production called Imagine This! along with colleagues Ben Storan and Clara Gaggero.

The first project was based in Peru, in a small town an hour away from Cusco. After one week of intense designing in London, myself and Ben Storan went out there and build a completely new playground in 6 days.

The project is the brainchild of Actor and Philanthropist Eion Bailey. I strongly suggest you visit the site for the show, which has now become open source so everyone can take part.

Building in Peru, using a local workforce, local materials and minimal toolkit

The finished playground was mainly build out of mild steel tubing and old tyres. Some features included piping underground where the children could scream down at each other from large distances - and were able to re-route the signal to different parts of the space. A climbing wall allowed them to invent games and adventure courses, and trampolines were positions so they could literally trampoline into class.
